COVID-19 Lock Down Extended For 3 More Weeks

It would have been no surprise to anyone when the Government announced last week that the current lock down would be extended for at least a further 3 weeks in order to restrict the spread of COVID-19.
This unprecedented situation inevitably poses enormous challenges both to families isolating at home and to businesses struggling to survive. For every challenge though, there is an opportunity and it is vital that we try to stay positive through it all until we reach the other side. STAY SAFE EVERYONE

Fantastic Prices on 20 Litre Casks (Pins)

As with all pubs, bars & clubs, our Tap Room is currently closed in line with current restrictions, which means that our normal market for cask ale has effectively disappeared. This has left us with stock which will soon pass its ‘best before’ date.
Rather than be forced to pour it away, we feel that we should offer what we can for sale at hugely discounted prices. Of particular interest to those families who are locked inside with a number of thirsty adults, our 20 litre casks (called pins) might fit the bill. Each pin holds roughly 35 pints of cask ale and should be good for 4-7 days from the moment it is tapped depending on conditions where it is stored (ideally somewhere nice and cool like a garage.
In accordance with the Scottish Government’s Minimum Alcohol Pricing of £0.50 per unit, the prices shown below are the lowest that we are able to charge
KING SLAYER 5.2% ABV OUTLAW KING 5.0% ABV SHINING KNIGHT 4.0% ABV WARRIOR QUEEN 3.8% ABV | £52.00 per 20L Pin £50.00 per 20L Pi n £40.00 per 20L Pin £38.00 per 20L Pin |
We only have a limited number of pins available for each of our GREAT SCOTS and so this offer will only be open for a limited period and sales will be on a first come, first served basis.
Unfortunately we can only deliver these pins to customers living within a 25 mile radius of Kinross. |
And Finally ………
People often ask us what is the story behind King Slayer , one of our GREAT SCOTS beers. Filmed at huge expense in the renowned Loch Leven Brewery Tap Room Studios in Kinross, we proudly present the story behind the brand.
